Adventure Play is for those aged 5-12, but we welcome those under 5 too, but MUST be accompanied by an adult at all times
The Addy is a charity funded, open access, adventure playground , with play at its core. First set up in 1972 by parents in a pit community that wanted a safe space for their children to play, fast-forward to now and this is pretty much our ethos today! It's all about feeling free, child-led adventure, discovery, learning through play. Every visit will feel like a whole new adventure...run wild, build dens, get cosy around our campfire & toast a marshmallow, make a pizza in the pizza oven, jump from the jumping tower, whizz down the zipline, make friends. Immerse in nature and enjoy childhood the old-fashioned way, no screens just pure hands-on, feel-good stuff - you can't beat it! Our high energy, fun filled sessions are supported by dedicated, qualified Playworkers. Our unique, beautiful space caters to all ages and abilities - there is something for everyone!

Children from low income families are welcome to book on using the FREE ticket (FREE School Meals Child) and to the children of families who are not on low income benefits we ask that you book on using the £5.00 ticket. (NON Free School Meal) Both tickets will ensure your child will received a meal with a drink and a pudding on our session, please make sure your child is wearing the band giving to them when they arrive.
Cancellation Policy
Amendments (cancellations/changes) to your booking can be made 24hrs before any session starts. Unfortunately, we are unable to give any refunds/amendments on the day of your intended session.
Parking
We do have a car park, our staff team will open the gates just before the session starts. If for whatever reason our car park is full, please be mindful of our local residents and make sure you do not obstruct driveways.
